Art
  1. Start by making a new slide (Ctrl+M) and give it a title.
  2. Give it a title dealing with art in your country or state.
  3. Use enchanted learning to find country and state art, or try a search using net Trekker or Yahoo! Kids. These are both safe sites for children and teachers to search with.
  4. Use sarch terms such as "art + (state or country name)" or "music + (state or country name)."
  5. Decide if you will focus on an artist or a specific piece of art.
  6. If you are focusing on a particular artist, copy and paste some of his or her pieces of art and put them on your slide.
  7. Type important information that pertains to your research. For example, the style of the artist's work is probably more important than the artist's birthday.
  8. If you are focusing on a piece of art like architecture, copy and paste one image of the work and put it on your slide.
  9. The resr of the slide should explain its importance, style, and its creators.
  10. Now we are going to set some animation features for your art slide. We will be making the piece(s) of art appear with a transition.
  11. Highlight the piece(s) of art. For one piece just click on it. For multiple pieces, hold down the Ctrl button and click once on each piece and then let go of the Ctrl button.
  12. Click on the tool bar above where it says "Slide Show." Select "Custon Animation."
  13. Now you will decide what effect you are putting on the slide. Click on "Add Effect" and choose "Entrance."
  14. Choose one of the entrance effects and you will see a list of you animation(s) form on the right side.
  15. Click "Play" and you will see a preview of your animation.
  16. Click on "Start" and select "With Previous." This will let your effect occur immediately.
  17. Copy the address of the website and add it your bibliography.
  18. Save and you are done for today.
